We do not prepare meals at Nishijin Fujita, but catered meals are available upon request. We can also introduce you to a wide variety of restaurants including ryotei (authentic Japanese-style restaurants with private rooms) and kappo (homey Japanese-style restaurants). Please take your time and enjoy your meal in a relaxing atmosphere.
- For lunch and dinner, we can arrange Kyoto-style kaiseki ryori (traditional Japanese meal served in courses) or kaiseki bento (kaiseki ryori served in a lunchbox) catered from long-established restaurants (Manshige, Izusen, etc.) according to your budget. Please take your time and enjoy your meal in a relaxing atmosphere.
- If you wish to have a banquet in a tatami room in the western part of the house, please inquire with us when you book your accommodation. We can arrange meals and drinks. Arrangement for geisha and maiko entertainers is also available (for an additional charge). Please visit the Fujita Residence website for photos of the room.
- As a general rule, we request our guests to make meal reservations at the time of accommodation booking. However, we can accept the reservation up to one week prior to your stay. (Cancellations accepted up to 4 days in advance.)
- Menu items available during the New Year holidays (December 27th to January 4th) may be different from usual. Please inquire with us for details.
